Not all ceiling fans are created equal. I remember the last ceiling fan we had in our dining room was noisy that I had it replaced. Ceiling fans are supposed to make us feel comfortable but I was getting annoyed all the time. I found out after asking my DH that he got an inexpensive one and we all know that they don't have the special noise silencers because some companies don't want to spend more money to manufacture them.
When we're looking for a replacement for our ceiling fan I made sure that I get the one that can sustain daily use and of course with no noise at all. I even made sure that the new ceiling fan is Energy Star qualified. A ceiling fan can help us conserve energy and reduce heating and cooling bills if we follow energy saving tips such as using a programmable thermostat, keeping the space around our house clean, turning off entertainment equipment when they're not in use and so much more.
